Strain relief is everything

Cables don't usually die in the middle. They die where the cable meets the plug — the bend point that flexes thousands of times. A 30,000-cycle bend test stresses exactly that joint.

If a cable spec sheet doesn't mention bend cycles or strain relief, treat it like a missing data point.
